    This will be an in-person outside  and a virtual service using ZOOM.

    This Sunday we will be celebrating our Patron Saint - St. Luke the Evangelist.  We will be meeting outside in the side yard, so be sure to bring a jacket.

    We will have a potluck and the Vestry of the Whole immediately following the service.

    We will begin reading "The Amen Effect" by Rabbi Sharon Brous.

    Here is an excerpt about the book:
    -  Do you yearn for a deeper sense of connection and belonging in a world that often feels fragmented and isolating?

    -  Do you seek ancient wisdom that can guide towards healing and hope in the face of modern challenges?

    If these questions resonate within you, then the "Amen Effect: Ancient Wisdom to Mend Our Broken Hearts and the World" offers a beacon of hope and a practical path to mend the fissures within and around us.

    Our small group will convene on Wednesday, September 4th, 2024, at10:00 a.m. in the Education Room of St. James Episcopal Church to begin reading and discussing Rabbi Brous' book and study
